“We cannot think first and act afterwards. From the moment of birth we are immersed in action, and can only fitfully guide it by taking thought.” —A.N. Whitehead
Sometimes we make the mistake of thinking that all action and activity is good. When we act without thought, we run the risk of moving away from our calling, Lifeswork, and goals. It is good to take time to think, reflect, pray, and plan before taking action. Indeed, God instructs us through Jeremiah to be still and know that He is God. Too often, we try to fill our lives with activity void of purpose. Instead, our actions should be purposeful and guided by thoughtful preparation.
What activities have you been engaged in that have taken you off course?
When can you schedule time to think through your planned activities?
How can taking time to contemplate allow you to guide your actions and activities more effectively?
Drink Coffee. Do Good.

Thanks Jonathan, I think life's demands make it difficult to stop and think. And all too often quantity of action can overshadow quality of action.
I appreciate the reminder. Blessings.
